The Bestway® 800 gal Flowcear™ Sand Filter is an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for keeping your above-ground pool water clean and healthy. Unlike traditional filter pump systems, this sand filter pump uses silica sand instead of a filter cartridge, making it a more cost-effective option. Where a filter cartridge may need to be replaced every 2 weeks, the silica sand only needs to be changed once every 3 years.

The pump works by draining pool water through a hose and into the filtration system. The silica sand is so compact that it effectively traps dirt and debris, while the filtered water is then pumped down a separate hose and into the swimming pool inlet. When the pressure gauge indicates that the corrosion-proof tank is full, the backwash setting allows for easy separation of debris from the sand, with a waste hose attached to flush the filth and debris to a suitable deposit area.

Designed to be compatible with 300-4,200 gal pools, the Sand Filter is an excellent upgrade to a traditional filter pump, enhancing the overall performance and efficiency of your above-ground pool. The product arrives pre-assembled for added convenience, and the top flange clamp design with 360 degrees rotation ensures a quick and smooth installation.

In addition to its efficient filtration capabilities, the Sand Filter also comes with the ChemConnect Dispenser, which maintains a stable level of chlorine that is evenly dispersed throughout the entire pool, ensuring clean, healthy, and skin-friendly water.

Compared to traditional filter cartridges, the sand filter pump is a more cost-effective solution. While filter cartridges need to be replaced every 2 weeks, the silica sand lasts up to 3 years, making it a more economical choice in the long run. However, it's important to note that the sand is not included with the product.
